GRAFFITI SHOW LOOKING FOR SPONSORS

Low Art Gallery of Toronto is looking for sponsors for the third annual Flexpo graffiti show beginning Aug. 21. Two sponsorship packages are available, each costing $125,000. During the show, two-thirds of a train will be painted by world-famous graffiti artists in Toronto. It will then travel to Vancouver, where the rest of the train will be painted. Inside the train will be an art exhibit called Piece Process 2 No Bombs Aloud, which consists of graffiti canvasses. After the Vancouver show, the exhibit will be shipped to Tokyo for a showing there. Companies can sponsors the train, the art show or the Fat Mobile, which is a 1961 Lincoln being bombed with spray paint. National advertising for Flexpo '97 will begin in early August using posters, radio and TV created in-house. Low Art Gallery is owned by Michael Chesney. Earlier this year he sold his Murad Communications to Mediacom Inc., both of Toronto.
