WATT DESIGN GROUP COMMEMORATES HONG KONG TURNOVER

The Watt Design Group of Toronto is helping Hong Kong celebrate its turnover from British to Chinese rule. The agency has designed and produced a collectable American Classic cola carton, for sale at Park 'n Shop Supermarkets of Hong Kong. The carton is red, white, blue and gold. A five leaf gold flower with stars inside each leaf is featured on the box. It is the new emblem of the Special Economic Zone being created by the handover. The stars within the flower reflect the authority of the mainland Chinese government. The Hong Kong skyline is also featured, as are illustrations of a 'Junk' ship, an icon and symbol of Hong Kong. A portion of the Union Jack is subtly visible, refecting the years of Brish rule that end on July 1. American Classic is produced by Cott Beverages Corp. of Toronto.
