NADBANK CHANGES ITS LOOK

NADbank Inc. of Toronto has increased the number of directors on the board and included leaders from the ad industry to provide equal representation for advertisers, ad agencies and newspaper members. There are now 16 members, eight from the newspaper industry and eight from the ad business. The new members are The Daily Gleaner publisher Brian Butters, Optimedia executive director and executive vice-president Sunni Boot, Cossette Communication-Marketing media and research executive vice-president Pierre Delagrave, Hudson's Bay Co. sales promotion and advertising vice-president Barry Agnew, PNMD partner Normand Chiasson, Genesis Media president and CEO Bruce Claassen, Royal Bank advertising vice-president Peter Case and Bell Canada consumer marketing communications general manager Jean-Francois Richard. NADbank conducts an annual survey of Canadian urban markets, examining newspaper readership, retail data and consumer behavior.
