CRTC HOME PAGE HAS OVER 100,000 HITS

After four months on the Internet the home page for the Canadian Radio-television Telecommunications Commission has attracted 107,000 users. The site contains current news, summaries of public notices and decisions, and a look-ahead to upcoming notices, hearings, announcements and speeches. Other options provide information on topics such as how to file telecommunications and broadcasting complaints, key telephone numbers and contacts and CRTC approaches to social issues such as television violence. Users also have access to related government agencies in Canada, the U.S. and Europe, as well as to research databases. The CRTC Internet address is <http://www.crtc.gc.ca>.
