DISTILLERS ASSOCIATION CHOOSES PYRAMID

Pyramid Communications of Montreal was given the PR portion of the Association of Canadian Distillers account late last month. The agency won the business in a competition with one other agency. The incumbent on the account was Edelman-Houston of Ottawa. The Association represents Canadian Distillers across Canada, lobbying against the excessive taxes put on liquor. The group claims 15,000 jobs have been lost over the past 20 years because of the taxes.
