Y&R GRABS NEW TECHNOLOGY ACCOUNT

Young & Rubicam of Toronto was handed the Digital Renaissance account early last month. The company manufactures hyperlinking technology for digital audio and video. Called Temporal Annotation Generator, the technology has been tested in four television spots for Ford of Canada. Y&R was given the business without a review. The agency had been in contact with Digital for some time. In the near future, Y&R will work with Ford and the Canadian Tourism Commission to showcase the new technology by enhancing the Ford and CTC TV commercials called Roadmap. T.A.G. will allow viewers to point and click their way across Canada and see various points of geographical interest, while learning more about the Ford vehicles that can take them there.
