CAMPBELL SOUP RELAUNCHES SOUP LINE

Campbell Soup Co. of Toronto has revamped its Home Cooking line of soups and will launch a national TV campaign for it in September. The line is now called Campbell's Classics and includes flavors such as Chicken Noodle, Vegetable Beef and Cream of Mushroom. The name change was made to better reflect the brands positioning, marketing vice-president Diane Teer says in a release. The new packaging was designed by the Thomas Pigeon Design Group of Oakville, Ont. The new labels use more color and close up shots of the soups. They also show more of the ingredients in the soups. The 30-second TV spot will be created by BBDO Canada of Toronto. The spot will be supported by point-of-purchase materials.
