WOODS SIGNS ON WITH AMERICAN EXPRESS

Golf phenom Tiger Woods signed a five-year sponsorship deal worth an estimated $30 million with U.S.-based American Express Co. on Monday. Woods, who will pitch Amex's financial advising service, also has a $40-million agreement with U.S.-based Nike and a $20-million deal with Titleist.
