BUCKLEY COULD BE DOING AGENCY SEARCH
By Adnews Staff
The fate of the W.K. Buckley account is up in the air after its agency, Bensimon*Byrne of Toronto, resigned from the business last week. Marketing manager Jennifer Meehan told Adnews last week that the cough syrup manufacturer is still deciding how it will handle its advertising and is considering holding a review. The agency was bought by D'Arcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles of Toronto, and had to resign from the Buckley account because of a conflict. DMB&B handles advertising for Procter & Gamble's Vick's cough drops. Bensimon also had to resign from the National Tilden Car Rental account because DMB&B handles advertising for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
