CANADA TRUST BANKS ON HARROD & MIRLIN
By Adnews Staff
Canada Trust has decided to go with just one agency to handle its creative. The company hired Harrod & Mirlin of Toronto this week after a competition with three other agencies because of its "ability to apply strong creative consistently across each of our ines of business," advertising and corporate communications vice-president Dianne Smith-Sanderson says in a release. In the past, Canada Trust has used agencies on a project basis, but decided to hire one agency that would get to know all parts of its business. Corporate advertising for the bank usually uses TV and some magazine. When it comes to specific products, Canada Trust uses newspaper, radio and the Internet. Media planning and buying is done by The MediaCompany of Toronto.
