EATON'S FOCUSES ON THE HOME WITH NEW OUTLET

T. Eaton Co. Ltd. of Toronto an Eaton's Home Store in Vancouver last week. The outlet sells major appliances, electronics and sleep products, as well as area rugs, accessories, lamps and furniture. The store is being promoted using print, transit and TV created in-house. Eaton's says it has no current plans to open more Home outlets. The company is currently under bankruptcy protection as it restructures its operations. So far, Eaton's plans on closing 18 of its most unprofitable stores.
