FASHION SHOW TO RAISE MONEY FOR WOMEN IN NEED

Bates Canada has launched a Toronto area radio and print campaign for the Matinee Fashion in Motion '97 show being held in Toronto later this month. The event is a fundraiser for Family Abuse Crisis Exchange, an organization that operates a clothing bank to make free apparel available to women requiring appropriate clothing to enter or re-enter the work force. The show is operated by the Matinee Fashion Foundation which is funded by Imperial Tobacco. The group, in its fifth year, provides grants to Canadian fashion designers in achieving their next career goals. Edelman Public Relations Worldwide of Toronto is handling PR for the show.
