HEWLETT-PACKARD UNVEILS NEW NOTEBOOKS

U.S.-based Hewlett-Packard Co. added two computers to its line of Omnibook machines this week. Called the Omnibook 5700 and 800, both computers are available in North America and use Intel Corp.'s MMX technology. HP TopTOOLS PC management software is preloaded with both machines. The 5700 is a notebook computer, while the 800 is an ultra-portable machine. Both are being targeted to businesses. In Canada, the computers are being promoted using PR done by BenchMark Communications of Toronto.
