New executive director at blueberry association

The Toronto-based Wild Blueberry Association of North America has appointed Patrick O’Neil to the position of executive director. O’Neil has spent the previous 25 years at Ontario Pork, most recently as manager of business and economic development. He was also manager of the organization’s marketing division for eight years. Outgoing executive director Neri Vautour is retiring from the association. The WBANA is a trade association representing growers and processors of wild blueberries from Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Maine.
