Toronto-based outerwear company Canada Goose has signed a promotional agreement with professional basketball player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. For his first work with the brand, Gilgeous-Alexander is appearing in a marketing campaign for a limited-edition collection of products made in collaboration with fashion brand KidSuper. The collaboration is part of Canada Goose’s sponsorship of the National Basketball Association. The collection consists of a fleece jacket, a reversible vest, a puffer jacket and a toque.
“The NBA and many of its players have become purveyors of taste and style,” said Dani Reiss, chairman and CEO of Canada Goose. “Shai, our newest global brand ambassador, is at the top of his game across every facet of performance, style and culture, much like Canada Goose has been for more than 65 years. The designs for the Canada Goose and NBA collection with KidSuper perfectly capture the connection between culture and community the NBA is known for, infused with Canada Goose's iconic performance luxury DNA.”
