By Adnews Staff
Sleep products retail chain Sleep Country Canada has begun a promotion called the “248 Hour Sleep Challenge” to coincide with Sleep Awareness Month. The promotion encourages consumers to get eight hours of sleep each night for 31 days in March. According to the company, the intent is to “foster healthier sleep habits that fuel physical and mental wellbeing.” Consumers can participate by means of an Instagram augmented reality filter that provides advice on healthy sleep habits. Users can also encourage their friends and family members to take small actions that will improve the quality of their sleep.
“As Canada's leading sleep expert, we know that sleep is the fuel that powers our day and allows us to feel our best self,” said Stewart Schaefer, president and CEO of Sleep Country. “This March, we are proud to champion sleep all month long with the introduction of the ‘248 Hour Sleep Challenge’ as we rally Canadians to join us in building healthy sleep habits through small, attainable steps to help foster a better night's sleep.”
