B.C. WANTS PEOPLE TO STAY HOME

The British Columbia Tourism Ministry is trying to keep its residents in the province while on holidays. Beginning in September, the organization is launching a campaign in that province in conjunction with B.C. tourist attractions and regional tourism marketing associations that will raise awareness of what the province has to offer. It will probably use TV, radio, print, PR and collateral materials, but plans haven't been confirmed. Advertising for the ministry is done by Lanyon Phillips Brink of Vancouver.
