COMPANY TO BUILD AQUARIUM, MAY NEED AGENCY
By Adnews Staff
Orlando-based Ripley Entertainment will open a 100,000-square-foot aquarium in Toronto in 1999 and hasn't decided yet whether it will hire a Canadian agency to promote the attraction or use its U.S. agency. JPC Communications of Toronto is doing Canadian PR for the company. Construction on the aquarium will begin this fall. It will house a variety of sharks, moray eels, rays, jellyfish, octopuses and live coral. There will also be an exhibit dedicated to Canada's marine life. Ripley is owned by The Jim Pattison Group, a privately-held Canadian company.
