Go RVing begins summer promotion

Go RVing Canada has begun a promotion with television personality Jon Montgomery intended to “inspire Canadians to explore their own backyard.” Montgomery, the host of reality television series Amazing Race Canada, will produce four recreational vehicle summer trip guides exclusively online at <http://www.gorving.ca>. The guides will feature his favourite destinations from past cross-country trips. The website also includes an interactive trip planner which consumers can use to map out a road trip route according to points of interest, preferred trip duration and starting point. According to the organization, this is the beginning of a long-term association between Go RVing Canada and Montgomery. A web series is planned for later in the year which will depict Montgomery using an RV to tour local breweries nationally. Go RVing Canada is a not-for-profit association that works to promote the use of recreational vehicles.
“Now more than ever, Canadians want to explore what our own backyard has to offer, and RV travel is one of the best ways to get back out there,” said Chris Mahony, president of Go RVing Canada. “With years of RV experience and Canadian travel, there is no one more fitting than Jon to showcase the amazing destinations that can be visited by RV this summer and beyond.”
