MINIVANS TO DRIVE NEW PETRO-CANADA CONTEST

Next week Petro-Canada will begin a national contest in which 10 grand prize winners will drive home 1997 Nissan Quest minivans. Called the Pump 'N Win Sweepstakes, the contest runs for 13 weeks until June 9 at 1,800 Petro-Canada stations across the country. Contestants must be members of Petro-Canada's PETRO-POINTS program and purchase a minimum of $10 of selected products or services to be eligible for the contest. In addition to the 10 vans, 187,500 prizes of 1,000 Petro-Points will be awarded. Petro-Canada officials could not be reached to comment on advertising details for the contest. Roche Macaulay & Partners Advertising Inc. of Toronto had been Petro-Canada's most recent agency of record. The company is currently in the process of conducting an agency search.
