Branded Cities signs OOH deal with Rogers

Out-of-home media company Branded Cities has signed a long-term agreement with Rogers Sports & Media of Toronto to redevelop that company’s media tower at Yonge and Dundas in Toronto. The tower incorporates approximately 3,000 square feet of digital signage and is viewed by approximately 146,000 people per day. The overhaul will begin in the third quarter of 2021. Branded Cities will install a 34-foot by 90-foot digital display running 10-second ads in a three-minute loop. Advertisers will also be offered the option to span their campaigns over the other three media towers the company operates at the intersection. Branded Cities is a subsidiary of EL Media and Shamrock Capital.

“Our unmatched media offering at Yonge and Dundas has grown significantly over the last few years, with static and digital media now available at CF Toronto Eaton Centre,10 Dundas Street East and the Atrium on Bay,” said Steve Ellman, chairman and CEO of Branded Cities. “We’re excited to be working with Rogers Sports & Media exclusively on the redevelopment of this landmark Yonge and Dundas venue, adding another great asset to our unique media offering.”
