Danone conducts Light & Free promotion

Danone Canada has begun a new promotion for its Light & Free yogurt brand. The effort includes a mural in Toronto by Hamilton-based street artist Scott Martin, also known as Burnt Toast. His artwork will also appear for a limited time on the brand’s packaging. The promotion also includes a contest component conducted via Instagram. Winners will receive artwork by Martin, tote bags, face masks, shirts and coupons. According to the company, the campaign is intended to “celebrate diversity and self-expression.”

“Light & Free is all about offering consumers a delicious yogurt option that allows them to break free from unconventional flavours while celebrating all forms of positive self-expression and the beauty in the diversity around us,” said Jeremy Oxley, vice-president of marketing, strategy and insights at Danone. “Burnt Toast is a Canadian artist who seeks inspiration from individuality, and this made him the perfect partner to help tell the Light & Free brand story. We’re so excited to work with him and provide him with a platform to fuel Canadians’ passion for expressing their realest, most authentic selves.”
