Holland Bloorview Hospital resumes Dear Everybody campaign

The Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital of Toronto has resumed a campaign called “Dear Everybody” for a fourth year. The campaign encourages brands, companies, content creators and distributors to include people with disabilities in their public communications. The effort also encourages consumers to make their opinions known regarding disability inclusion in media. The campaign includes a website at <http://www.deareverybody.ca> at which they can sign a petition, as well as a collection of stickers that can be applied to Instagram stories to comment on their level of representation.

“Everybody wants a chance to be heard and everybody wants a chance to be seen,” said Julia Hanigsberg, president and CEO of Holland Bloorview. “But for 6.2 million Canadians, those chances are too few and far between. Even the smallest of actions can have a big impact so we’re inviting you to join the movement by signing the Dear Everybody Agreement and by challenging your own social networks to call for disability inclusion.”
