Sobeys conducts NHL Hub promotion

Grocery store chain Sobeys recently conducted a promotion during which it used its Voilà delivery service to deliver a collection of snack foods to the NHL Hub at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. The delivery was met by Maple Leafs mascot character Carlton the Bear. Voilà is the official grocery delivery service of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the NHL.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Toronto and Calgary have been designated hub cities by the NHL and will host all games in the league’s playoff series as well as the Stanley Cup championship. All participating players, coaches and team staff will stay at hotels in these cities until the end of the event.
