Daily Commercial News moves to digital publishing

Toronto-based ConstructConnect Canada, a company specializing in construction industry news and pre-construction software, has ceased publication of the print edition of its Daily Commercial News newspaper in favour of a digital publication. The website is located at <https://canada.constructconnect.com/dcn>. ConstructConnect is a subsidiary of Roper Technologies.
“We have been preparing for this moment for years by ensuring that the DCN's online experience exceeded our readers' expectations before it was time to make the final leap,” said Mark Casaletto, president of ConstructConnect Canada. “The main reason we continued to print a physical paper was to satisfy the Construction Act requirement to publish CSPs in a 'construction trade newspaper.' With the statutory requirements now broadened to include digital newspapers, and the current global crisis shifting consumer behaviour, we found the right opportunity to complete this digital transformation.”
