SkipTheDishes releases online video

Food delivery service SkipTheDishes has released an online video featuring actor and spokesperson Jon Hamm thanking consumers for supporting local restaurants during the COVID-19 pandemic. The video was shot at Hamm’s home, in accordance with social distancing guidelines. According to the company, consumers have donated approximately $500,000 to local restaurants nationally since March 23.
“It’s incredible to see communities from coast-to-coast stepping up to support their local restaurants, even through these difficult times,” said Kevin Edwards, CEO of SkipTheDishes. “We were inspired by the outpouring of support, as was Jon, and together we were thrilled to show our thanks.”
