Endvr.io begins Shop Local Project

Sales support agency Endvr.io has begun a not-for-profit initiative called “The Shop Local Project.” Located at <http://www.theshoplocalproject.com>, the effort provides a way for local retailers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to sell discounted gift cards. It is aimed particularly at stores that may not have well-developed online stores of their own. Retailers will receive the proceeds from sales daily, in order to provide immediate support. The initiative is being conducted in association with a number of retailers, including outdoor footwear brand Baffin and sports equipment brand Salomon.
“Endvr has always been focused on building community, bringing together brands, stores, and frontline employees together to help drive sales on the store floor,” said Steve Gendron, co-CEO at Endvr.io. “The Shop Local Project is a great opportunity to build an even bigger community by giving consumers the chance to support their favourite local stores during these tough times, so that these businesses can continue to grow in the future.”
