Toronto Star debuts This Matters podcast

The Toronto Star has debuted a new daily news podcast called “This Matters” intended to address “important stories and ideas of interest to Canadians.” According to the publisher, this is the first daily news podcast established by the Star. The free episodes will be released each weekday at <http://www.thestar.com>, as well as on other podcasting services. Each episode will be 15 to 20 minutes in length and will cover one topic. The podcast will be hosted by Adrian Cheung, Saba Eitizaz and Raju Mudhar, along with journalists from the Star and experts on relevant topics.
