JWT CONTINUES CREATIVE SHAKEUP

Just weeks after bidding farewell to executive creative director Derek Chapman, Toronto-based J. Walter Thompson Co. Ltd. is parting ways with his replacement Shelley Ambrose. Prior to taking over Chapman's position in late January, Ambrose had been creative director at the agency's Toronto office. The new executive creative director is Scott Goodson. He was most recently the co-owner and creative director of Welinder Advertising of Sweden. Ted Nation, JWT's president and CEO, told Adnews that Chapman and Ambrose had been de-facto co-executive creative directors for the last few years. He said the agency's long-term plan all along had been to invest in new creative.
