Giant Tiger begins holiday campaign

Ottawa-based discount store chain Giant Tiger has begun a holiday season extension to its ongoing “See Yourself Saving” campaign. It consists of a 30-second television commercial, accompanied by digital advertising, flyers, social media activities and in-store materials. The creative features various Christmas-themed characters. The effort also encourages consumers to share digital images of outtakes from the commercial online. In addition, a contest component will run online at <http://www.gianttiger.com> until Dec. 17.
“Saving money on the items your family needs and wants should be fun and stress-free, especially during the holidays, and Giant Tiger can make that happen, even for the most challenged shopper,” said Cindy-Lynn Steele, senior vice-president of corporate strategy and marketing at Giant Tiger. “We are looking forward to seeing the campaign further engage our current and future customers in new ways that brings them a little closer to who we are as a fun and caring Canadian brand.”
