Giant Tiger readies Thank You Sessions promotion

Discount store chain Giant Tiger has begun a promotion called the “Thank You Sessions” in collaboration with record label Anthem Records. The initiative takes the form of a weekly series of online livestreaming concerts in support of Food Banks Canada. The first concert will take place on April 15 and will feature country musician Eric Ethridge. The performances will be streamed on the Giant Tiger Facebook page. The promotion will run until May 27.
“We appreciate the countless everyday heroes who are helping in the response to COVID-19,” said Paul Wood, president and chief operating officer of Giant Tiger Stores. “The ‘Thank You Sessions,’ which will bring Canadians together virtually through a shared love of music and community, is just one of the many ways we have chosen to give back.”
