CHRISTIE BROWN PUTS NEW TWIST ON CRACKERS

Christie Brown & Co. of Toronto introduced pumped up crackers last week to the Canadian market. Called Air Crisps, the crackers are baked extra thin and crispy, are pumped up with tiny, crunchy pockets of air and are low in fat. They are available in four flavors: Ritz, Vegetable Thins, Wheat Thins and Cheese Nips. TV and in-store sampling for Air Crisps will begin next month. The ads were created by Harrod & Mirlin of Toronto. PR will be done by Strategic Objectives of Toronto. Air Crisps were launched in the U.S. in 1995. Christie Brown is a division of Nabisco Ltd. of New Jersey.
