OAAC LAUNCHES VIRTUAL OFFICE

The Outdoor Advertising Association of Canada's new office plans on being in people's faces. That's because the OAAC has gotten rid of its old office and administrative staff and set up shop on the Web. John Baird, the OAAC's current chair, told Adnews the group made the move to cut costs. The association's business will now be handled over the Internet and by e-mail from the various members' offices. Reception, courier and mail services will still operate from the group's previous office which is now occupied by the Canadian Outdoor Measurement Bureau. But anyone looking for OAAC news on lobbying or the BILLI awards should be able to find what they're looking for on the Web.
