
VisitBritain begins Love is Great Britain campaign

VisitBritain, the national tourism agency of the United Kingdom, has begun a North American promotion called “Love is Great Britain.” During the initiative, the organization will participate in Pride events in five cities in Canada, 14 cities in the United States and five cities in Latin America. Visit Britain is conducting the campaign in association with the LGBTQ Founders Trade Mission, a business program comprising nine UK-headquartered companies with LGBT founders. The group will also participate in LGBT-themed film festivals, sports events and tourism forums.
“Showcasing Britain throughout the Pride season in these cities helps highlight the destination as a welcoming, inclusive, open and accepting place for all people to visit and enjoy,” said Paul Gauger, senior vice-president for the Americas at VisitBritain. “Whether you crave the unexpected or yearn for the undiscovered, VisitBritain's LGBTQ+ campaign ‘Love is Great Britain’ captures 365 days of fun, love, culture and so much more.”
