McDonald's expands McCafe Mobile Rewards program

McDonald's Canada has expanded its McCafé Mobile Rewards loyalty program to include hot beverages. Consumers can now collect loyalty points for these purchases using the brand's mobile application or a program membership card. This system will replace the company's previous on-cup rewards system. As will that system, a consumer will receive a free medium-sized beverage for each seven purchases.
"The on-cup stickers have become a fun and easy way to enjoy McCafé," said Lara Skripitsky, chief technology officer at McDonald's. "Now digital rewards bring new dimension to how people order, collect and pay on their smartphone through the My McD's app. It helps people conveniently incorporate McDonald's and McCafé into their everyday routines."
