New marketing vice-president at Avigilon

Vancouver-based security system company Avigilon has appointed Alex Asnovich to the position of vice-president of global marketing and communications. He was most recently head of public affairs and North American marketing at Hikvision. Prior to that, he was the chief marketing officer at Tyco Security Products and vice-president of marketing at Xtralis.
