Casper breaks hockey-themed campaign

Mattress company Casper has begun a new campaign called "Sleep Better, Hockey Harder" featuring professional hockey player John Tavares. The national campaign consists of two 30-second television commercials accompanied by social media content and in-arena materials at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. The initiative will run through the 2018-2019 NHL season. The creative depicts Tavares moving his mattress to the arena so that his sleep schedule will not interfere with his training regimen. Casper is the official sleep sponsor of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

"Elevating sleep as a pillar of wellness is core to the Casper mission," said Nicole Tapscott, vice-president and general manager of Casper Canada. "Hockey holds a special place in the hearts of Canadians. We hope this campaign, with its humorous twist, will resonate with fans and customers alike. And as a native Torontonian, I couldn't be more excited to continue our investment in Canada, and champion better sleep with a legend like Tavares."
