Kijiji readies Kijiji Autos

Toronto-based classified advertising website Kijiji is preparing a new service called Kijiji Autos to handle ads for vehicles. The service will include a website at <http://www.kijijiautos.ca> and a mobile application. Users will be able to browse or search for new or used cars and trucks advertised by dealers and private sellers. The company expects the service to launch before the end of the year. Kijiji is a subsidiary of EBay.

"Our goal at Kijiji has always been to help Canadians make connections and to find what they need within their community," said Matthew McKenzie, general manager of Kijiji. "Cars and trucks has always been one of the top categories on Kijiji and we've enabled countless Canadians to buy or sell vehicles for more than a decade. Through developing a new digital destination, we want to further help in the car buying journey."
