Tokyo Smoke begins legalization campaign

Toronto-based cannabis retailer Tokyo Smoke has begun a marketing campaign in advance of the legalization of the drug in Canada on Oct. 17. The campaign, called "Ten Seventeen," consists of an online video that depicts a variety of ways in which consumers can have an "elevated experience" on that day. The video features a number of local personalities, including Tristan Banning, Hawley Dunbar, Trevor Wheatley, Tynomi Banks, Matt Benfield and others. The video is accompanied by digital and out-of-home advertising, events, social media activities, media relations and influencer relations.
