COREL CHIEF NAMED MARKETING EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR

Ottawa-based Corel Corp. president and CEO Michael Cowpland has been awarded the 1996 Ursaki Canadian Sales & Marketing Executive of the Year Award. Cowpland has also been president and co-founder of Mitel Corp. He sits on the board of the Ottawa Health Institute, GEAC and Hummingbird Company and the Canadian Advanced Technology Association. The award is sponsored by Sales & Marketing Executives of Toronto.
