Mercedes-Benz, Argon 18 begin joint promotion

Mercedes-Benz has begun a promotional initiative in collaboration with Montreal-based bicycle manufacturer Argon 18. Through this four-year agreement, the two companies will produce a number of co-branded bicycles, beginning with a Mercedes-Benz Style Endurance Bike which will be released in the fall.
"The bike blends perfectly with our 'sensual purity' design philosophy, a marriage of emotion and intelligence," said Martin Bremer, senior manager of design creation brand experience at Mercedes-Benz Style. "The intricately-designed carbon frame, in conjunction with the Mercedes-Benz color scheme, provides dynamism even at a stand-still, thus creating an emotional connection between bike and rider. Perfectly integrated technical components represent our new partner's impressive ingenuity."
