Quebec Museum of Civilization releases mobile app

The Quebec Musée de la civilisation has released a new mobile application that serves as an interactive guide to the museum's exhibits. Developed by Lg2 of Montreal in collaboration with Cortex Studio, the application makes use of augmented reality technology as well as text and audio content.
"In order to create an app that works successfully within a museum setting, it has to provide the consumer with enriched content as well as allow them to interact with the works," said Nicolas Baldovini, digital experience creative director at Lg2. "More importantly, it has to further the visitor's emotional journey and experience throughout the museum."
