FYIdoctors debuts new website

Calgary-based eye care company FYIdoctors has constructed a new website at <http://shop.fyidoctors.com>. The site serves as an online store which allows consumers to access prescriptions and order new glasses or contact lenses. Users can also try on various frames with a virtual application. The site is currently available in English, with a French-language version planned for later this year.
"An integrated e-commerce solution, which is an extension of our optometrist led-care, provides a real opportunity to engage with our patients in-between examinations," said FYIdoctors CEO Alan Ulsifer. "We're tremendously excited to deepen our relationship with our existing patients. Our integration with our core systems, like our prescription service, is unique and will enable a great ongoing user experience for all of our current and future patients."
