DIGITAL MEDIA AWARDS SHOW

Deadline for entry into the International Digital Media Awards competition is Feb. 13. The awards are sponsored by the International Digital Media Foundation of Toronto, and are open to multimedia publishers, developers and artists worldwide. Thirty-one awards will be presented, including 16 individual awards in five main categories: best consumer CD-ROM title in reference, general interest, kids and games categories, best educational CD-ROM title, best World Wide Web site, best multimedia application for corporate clients and best interactive installation and performance. Other categories include: best interface design, best graphics, best animation, best audio/soundtrack and best video. The awards will be presented at Multimedia 97 Exposition and Forum being held in Toronto from May 6 to 9
