Dr. Oetker readies Cioccolato's Ristorante promotion

Food company Dr. Oetker Canada is readying a Valentine's Day promotion in Toronto in support of its Ristorante line of frozen pizzas. The promotion will make use of a temporary retail location called Cioccolato's Ristorante, which will serve the brand's new chocolate dessert pizza product. The pizzas have a chocolate crust and topping including chocolate sauce, dark chocolate chips, milk chocolate shavings and white chocolate chunks. The location will also be outfitted with a chocolate-themed decor. It will operate from Feb. 9 to 14.
"Innovation has always been at the heart of our business, so we're excited to introduce our brand-new chocolate pizza by welcoming guests at Cioccolato's Ristorante," said Peter Macdonald, executive head of marketing at Dr. Oetker Canada. "Ristorante Cioccolato is the perfect complement to our best-selling Ristorante pizza lineup, and we can't wait to share it with Canadians."
