Gaming Nation buys Fan.Dex from Circle Media

Toronto-based Gaming Nation, a company specializing in information technology for the sports and entertainment industries, has acquired a number of assets from software company Circle Media. Chief among these is the company's Fan.Dex data management system, which allows users to manage sports fan information. The system will be operated by Gaming Nation subsidiary 5050 Central.

Circle Media executives including Joe Casey, Dan Libro and Heather Voight will join Gaming Nation. Libro will become chief product officer of the company, while Voight will become vice-president of collegiate athletics.

"We are extremely excited to have completed this transaction and it is our belief that the Fan.Dex platform will provide an outstanding product to meet our clients' needs moving forward," said Scott Secord, president and CEO of Gaming Nation.
