Awards: Canadian Public Relations Society

The Canadian Public Relations Society conducted its 2017 Awards of Excellence this week. The Canadian Marketing Communications Campaign of the Year was "Bring Back the Bees," conducted by Veritas Communications and General Mills Canada. High Road Communications won the Canadian Community Relations Campaign of the Year award for its "Little Leaguers Send A Big Message" campaign.

The Canadian Advocacy and Social Marketing Campaign of the Year was "Ontario Pork: An Era of Change and Responsibility," conducted by Argyle Public Relationships and Ontario Pork. The Canadian Media Relations Agency Campaign of the Year was the launch initiative for "Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon," conducted by Craft Public Relations and Nintendo of Canada.

Kids Help Phone won the Canadian Media Relations Non- Agency Campaign of the Year award for its "Teens Talk 2016" initiative. Syncrude Canada won the Crisis Management Campaign of the Year award for its "Fort McMurray Wildfire - Syncrude Employee Communication" campaign.

The Canadian Government Relations Campaign of the Year was "The Sixties Scoop: Honourable Words Require Honourable Actions" by Argyle Public Relationships. The Canadian Digital Communications Campaign of the Year was "Open Access Awareness" by the University of British Columbia Library.
