New North American CMO at GroupM

GroupM of New York has appointed Jim Meyer to the newly-created position of chief marketing officer for North America. Meyer was most recently North American chief marketing officer at market research firm Ipsos. He has also held various positions at WPP subsidiaries JWT and Kantar TNS. Meyer has also been CEO and co-founder of Mindset Media and a consultant at Novantas and The Cambridge Group. GroupM is the media investment arm of WPP.
