The PitchMen opens in Toronto

A new firm called The PitchMen has opened in Toronto. The company will specialize in consulting with advertising agencies preparing a pitch for a new account. It's staff consists of creative, media, public relations, advertising and marketing specialists. According to the company, its intent is to provide smaller marketing agencies will the resources to compete with larger agencies in a pitch process.
"We understand from experience that new business pitches and RFPs, although critical to agency health, can be incredibly disruptive to agency life," said company co-founder Peter Cooke. "We offer smaller, entrepreneurial agencies and design firms a discrete creative and marketing resource to help support business growth. We can deliver creative concept development, strategic planning, research and insight services, media planning, public relations and social media strategies that provide entrepreneurial shops with a wider palette of options and resources for a more competitive presentation."
