Toronto Star readies special edition

The Toronto Star will publish a special edition on May 7 called the Innovation Issue. The special issue will comprise print and tablet editions through the publication's Toronto Star Touch application. The editorial content will focus on emerging technologies such as driverless cars and digital blockchain systems such as Bitcoin. The editorial lineup was developed in association with guest editor Don Tapscott, author and media and technology critic. The content will run in various sections of the paper, including News, Business, Heath, City, Life and Entertainment.
"The Innovation Issue will showcase groundbreaking thinking, research and development and policy making across all sectors," said Michael Cooke, editor of the Toronto Star. "Mr. Tapscott has his pulse on how Canada and the world are adapting to innovation, and the Innovation Issue will shine a light on everything from new thinking to new technology in an engaging editorial environment."
